Everyone welcome
Accessibility Statement
The Revival Studio wants this website to work for as many people as possible, including those using a keyboard, a screen reader, or magnification.
Last updated September 12, 2026
What has been done
The site has been built and reviewed with the following in mind:
- Pages use real headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move through them in order.
- Every photograph has descriptive alternative text.
- Links and buttons can be reached and activated with the keyboard, and show a visible focus outline.
- The full-screen photo viewer moves keyboard focus into itself, keeps focus inside while it is open, closes with Escape, returns focus to the photo you opened, and offers labelled zoom in, zoom out, and reset buttons plus arrow-key panning.
- The directions to the studio are written out in text as well as shown as coloured routes on the floor plan, so colour alone is not required.
- Animation is reduced automatically when your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
- Text sizes scale with your browser’s zoom and text settings.
Known limitations
This site aims at the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines but has not been through a formal third-party audit, and no “certification” is claimed. Areas still being worked on:
- The floor-plan image is detailed; some corridor labels are small and hard to read even when zoomed.
- Screen-reader testing has been limited to keyboard and automated checks, not a full manual screen-reader review on every device.
- Some copper and gold text on dark backgrounds is being reviewed for contrast.
- Booking happens on GlossGenius, an outside platform whose accessibility the studio does not control.
Getting help another way

The studio aims to respond to accessibility requests as quickly as it answers booking enquiries, and welcomes reports of any barrier you run into.
